ROM 32: The Struggle Within [video/audio]

"Christianity 101" ... Romans 7:7-25

I wish it wasn’t the case, but after 30 years I’m still tempted to sin.  It’s hard to talk about “the old man” coming back to life because I became a Christian when I was 13.  The reality that we are all faced with is our struggle against our sinful nature.  Sin is alive and active, making promises to us that it can’t fulfill.

Today’s video on Romans 7:7-25 focuses on the internal struggle against the sinful nature and some of the lies it tells us to get us to surrender to it.

  1. This is a good one.
I think the struggle goes on until we climb into the areas of our Father Jesus and He soothes me with the words, “it’s ok, you’re ok Lynda.”
On the other hand being in the “paediatric stage of geriatric” I can say at least for me I do not struggle with some of the laws eg covetousness. It would not enter my mind to covet riches, bodies, etc or even a strong back. Thank you Jesus. I can’t think of anything at all.

Thank you for your hard work, Rick.
Oops, just thought of one. I wish I was smarter, so I could impress the people I’m around with my wittiness, and cleverness, and thus bring them to the Lord!
